Last week in class, we got to watch these two really great episodes of Planet Earth. We were discussing as a class the environment and how ecosystems are being systematically destroyed and how species are dissapearring right before our eyes. The first episode we watched talked alot about what we had been discussing, about ecosystems being ruined. It was very interesting but very sad. It's really depressing to see the destruction of the planet that humans have caused. The second video was more about how some animals are very endangered and how some species are creeping closer to extinction. The video was also about conservation and what things are being done and how people are trying to save these species and their natural habitats. In class now we are debating on some of the different ways to conserve nature. Some of the ways we have talked about were biological preservations and captive breeding. It is all very interesting stuff but it is pretty depressing.
