Safe and Sound in San Jose

We had a painless trip that ended very late last night...little did we know we had to get up at 5am to start our exciting day! We lucked out...the clouds cleared and we could see the Poas Volcano so clearly! My favorite parts of the trip so far: 1) sitting next to a student who has NEVER been on a plane before and watching this student experience take-off and landing for the first time.... and 2) meeting the SUPER COOL Manuel Obregon, music producer and preserver of traditional music. ~bossert

You MUST find a way to bring back some of that amazing music. Wish I were with you.

Miss you.

Great blogs! They are bringing tears to me eyes!
You might want to tell your students we had the same experience on our trip to Spain. The 4th year Spanish students, very confident of their ability to converse in Spanish with the natives, reduced to blithering idiots (they felt) when trying to order pizza! Learning it isn't the same as living it. Your kids write such great blogs-I feel like I'm there! Keep it up!

that MUST'VE been fun partaking in a first-time-take-off with said student! I'm sure you're imprinted the same way in many students' lives...<3

Bailas cuando oye la musica? =)
