Cooking and Dancing

We are getting ready to leave Pittsburgh and go to Costa Rica. And before that we have been finding ways to experience Costa Rica in are classroom. One of are assignments was to cook something that is Costa Rican and i decided to make there pollo en salsa (chicken and salsa) that was a lot of fun to make homemade salsa and create a delicious dish for my fellow classmates and soon to be travelers. I work at an Italian restaurant as a cook and getting to experiments in another cultures style was a real treat and very enjoyable.

The Wednesday classes are teacher refines are skills in Spanish and recently we had a class on dancing. And I have had prior experience in swing dancing and i found that the salsa was very close the only difference was the fallowing with your hips which i believe is the key to salsa dancing.

I can't wait to experience this new world we will be entering and I know i will have a great time and i will make sure others around me will as well. This will be a great ending to my high school year. I am very lucky to be participating in this and am thankful for my classmates teachers and all those that are behind us supporting this adventure.
