Siete días hasta que desviarse de Pittsburgh

I have never been this anxious about traveling before. I feel like I’m on a plane getting ready for lift off. I can defiantly say that I feel a lot more prepared this time around then last time. I’m not saying that I know what to expect because I have learned every time I travel it’s a new experience. I intend to travel to Costa Rica with no expectations because it doesn’t leave room for disappointment, but leaves ton of room for surprise; which I am totally looking forward to during this trip.

In the past weeks we talked intensely about ecotourism. Even though I knew a lot of knowledge prior to this class; I can honestly say that Mr. Dubas has done a wonderful job in giving us tons of information about ecotourism. I was surprised by how much I didn’t know. I think I just realized how much has to be invested into a land that is developed for ecotourism or even basic conservation.

Even though we look over the pros and cons of ecotourism I think the class’ general consensus is that ecotourism is on the better if not the best way to implement the ideals of conservation in our world. And I am really excited about going back to Quebrada Arroyo where they practice the ideas of conservation in the truest from then any place I’ve ever seen. And going again with the new knowledge I have ganged this past year, I think this experience will give me a different prospective and really allow to go down with an open mind
