12 days away from Costa Rica...can you believe it??

This week we have learned two very important things:
1. Ecotourism
2. Salsa Dancing

To be honest I think that Ecotourism is pretty amazing. Its common knowledge that people like to spend money on themselves. For the most part what that money goes to in no was supports the environment (in many ways it can make it worse). Ecotourism is a great way for people to spend money on themselves and still support the environment. I am really excited to be going to a country where Ecotourism is becoming such a strong asset to both the land and the economy. For me, experiencing an amazing location and culture while knowing that I am doing as much as i can to not harm the natural flow of things is whats so amazing about this trip we are about to take.
Salsa dancing, which is the second thing we studied this week is a whole different story. I am extremly excited to experience salsa dancing in person with people who acctually know what they are doing. Although I dont think that any of us will be competing in a Salsa competition any time soon, we did have a ton of fun trying to learn all the steps.

P.S. A word to the wise... if you are salsa dancing, dance far away from Nee.
